Thank you for Teacher Appreciation Week
We were overwhelmed with the donations of time, treats and well wishes last week during Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you to everyone who helped make this week special for our staff! We are fortunate to work with such wonderful families.
Last Days fo School
The remaining last three days of school have a change in dismissal times. Students will be dismissed at 2:10 on June 3, June 4 and June 5.

May's Key-Living Above the Line
Living Above the Line
Living above the line is related to the Key of Ownership, one of our 8 Keys of Excellence principles to live by. Life’s challenges come at us from all directions. At home, at school, and with friends. Challenges are what keep life interesting. As these challenges arise, we have choices in how to approach them.
When we live above the line we are choosing responsibility and ownership. We don’t simply let things happen to us and justify, blame, or deny them. We make things happen for us. We have greater control because we stop blaming things outside ourselves for our current situation.
Living above the line means being accountable for our words and actions. It means looking at our options and finding ways to become more honest and sincere—with ourselves and with others. This above-the-line thinking leads to greater freedom as we take responsibility for all our actions—we take responsibility for our life. The choice is always ours.
April Dynamic Dolphins
We would like to congratulate our April Dynamic Dolphins. All month, these students exhibted the qualities around our April Key-Balance

Leftover School Supply Drive
Once again this year we will have a collection of students' school supplies at the end of the year. Supplies can be new or used-to save them from ending up in the garbage. Of course students are welcome to take their used supplies home for the summer but we want to encourage students to donate rather than trash. We will again be collecting items such as glue sticks, markers (working and non working), crayons, scissors, pencil boxes, dry erase markers, and pencils. More information to follow soon!
Lost and Found
Families-we have many items still not claimed in our Lost and Found. Anything remaining after the school year ends, will be donated.

Car Line/Parking Lot Arrival and Dismissal
To help keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient for all students, we want to all families to be aware of the following items:

Parking lot = Car line only. During arrival and dismissal, there will be no parking in the lot.

Walkers may be held briefly. If you are walking and crossing near our crossing guard, please wait until you are directed to cross. The crossing guard will be monitoring traffic flow and may temporarily hold walkers so car line traffic can clear.

Right turn only when exiting. Families in the car line will continue to turn right only when leaving the parking lot. Please follow the crossing guard’s directions when stopping or going.
